You could see that locally the REPUBLICANS who go out to tea parties with their misspelled signs couldn't bother to vote against the expensive trolley proposed by the DEMOCRATS which will cost the feds $60million and the Boise city tax payers $20million.

The party of NO just says NO to everything even locally without bothering to vote or put their money where their loud mouths are.

There was no trolley vote, which was the point. I did not vote for any incumbent, neither did my wife...

FROM IDAHO STATESMAN today

Streetcar advocates win, critics lose elections - The Associated Press
Published: 11/04/09

BOISE, Idaho — A U.S. streetcar revival fared well in Tuesday's elections, with pro-trolley candidates for mayor in Cincinnati and Charlotte, N.C., winning. A critic of Boise's proposal lost.

Streetcars are being considered by as many as 80 U.S. cities, as federal grants are available, and President Barack Obama's administration has given urban rail favorable reviews.

In Charlotte, streetcar advocate Anthony Foxx beat John Lassiter.

Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory won against Brad Wenstrup, a streetcar critic.

And in Boise, voters in a city council race chose TJ Thomson over David Litster, who is trying to kill a plan in Idaho's capital to build a 2.3-mile trolley loop.

ALSO IN TODAY'S Idaho Statesman page A10 Kevein Richert has a three column article about the STREETCAR entitiles "Streetcar didn't inspire Boise residents to vote." Lots of articles about the non vote, HELLO--indifferent teabags who NOW ignore federal and local spending.
