The far right wing put everything they had to elect Hoffman. Sarah, Beck, Limbaugh, Armey, etc. and still common sense prevailed. It will be interesting to see what other GOP candidates utilize the services of this toxic group.

The in-fighting didn't hurt but lets face it, the right didn't have anything or anyone to run on.
They had a moderate republican and we know that isn't going to fly and a total nut case extremist and that will never work in this country.

The right has to learn from this election and this loss that the extreme isn't going to win and they have to move left and adopt a more moderate position if they hope to win any seats 2010.

With their track record and lack of leadership, they just might break with history and lose seats next year!

We lost by a few thousand votes (if it had been the democrat the fraud patrol would already be in court demanding we count all the votes)...we won the two big ones with massive victories. The news is reporting that Independents broke for the GOP by almost a two to one margin. Besides, the real message was sent...no RINO's.

If the RINO had been left alone the loss in NY23 would have been massive.

All told a very good night for America
