On a non political theme....is anyone else NOT getting mail this season. My mail has dwindled from half a dozen pieces a day, mostly junk, to zip over the last week or so. As it is the busiest season of the year, mail usually goes way up, not way down. Folk who have sent cards and letters ask about them on the phone. I know stuff has been sent but it has not been received...last time I experienced this was in the third world.

Well even with that I aways say the two best bargains in the USA are AAA and the U.S. Postal service. When I can mail a letter to my friend in Japan and she is reading it on her porch 4 days later that is amazing. So maybe this year it will take six days... Still friggin amazing....

Yes, I've dwindled to nothing and last month for the first time ever, some bills in pre-stamped envelopes took over 7 days to get to Texas. Never before has it taken over four days. I'm actually expecting a check from a client, it hasn't arrived; he claims he mailed it. . . I'm not ready to think he's lying yet, since the mail has seemed quite odd and empty lately.

I agree with you NS it is a good deal, but this season something a bit odd does seem to be happening.

I would agree about not doubting the fellow. I believe things are very slow this year and I don't know why unless the post office is trying to save money. No mail at all arrived today, as near as I can tell, for anyone on my part of the street.

I watched him drive right past my box. Put something in the neighbor's though. Just weird.
